My Amazon box came!

Thanks to Swagbucks I was able to order these two books, plus a stocking stuffer last week for nothing out of pocket! (I, also, ordered a copy of Breathe for a friend. In case you do the math and wonder how I managed to get free shipping.) Woohoo.

The women at church are doing the study "Breathe" by Priscilla Shirer.  God is faithful and this study couldn't be more timely as I struggle to balance all the needs in my home as a soon to be single mom.  Life can just be over "full."  Readjusting priorities, feelings of inadequacies to meet all the needs... and knowing, that noone is able to "do it all" and none of us are meant "to do it all", and it is in the moments of needing a need met and there is noone that we find God who can Do it all and Always be there...  While knowing all that.  Living that.  In this season, there is such encouragement and refreshment being found in this study... Different words, same meaning, some new and unexpected insights...   It is filling this soul and heart with bursts of fresh air as she tries to just Breathe.

And this gem, Releasing Emotinal Patterns with Essential Oils, has been on my wish list for ever so long.  For years in fact.  Always something else that takes its place in the cart when working within a budget.  This time though, to get free shipping... earning enough "free" Amazon e-gift cards, I had some wiggle room to bless my bookshelf with this resource.
Everyone has patterns/habits in how they respond/react to various situations.  While essential oils are suggested as possible ways to support a person's emotinal well being, the book, also, delves into phrases and thought patterns.  One thing I have learned over the years is it is not enough to identify the negative. It is not enough to know what needs to be changed.  There is another element in the process.  It is knowing that if something has to change or go, something has to replace what is being removed.  So what is the positive element that is going to replace the negative?  If all a person has known is the "negative" it can be difficult to change.  Questions like: What does different look like?  What would be the opposite of this negative?  (Every negative has an opposite, a positive.)  As a resource, this book can shorten the journey in figuring out what different/opposite looks like.  In a busy and full life, sometimes have a quick reference tool, can be such a blessing!

As I mentioned, I managed to pick up a stocking stuffer as well.  I only needed to spend a couple of dollars and scored a much favorite item for "free" and to get free shipping on top of it all. It isn't photographed because, well, my kids know about this blog and the suprise would be ruined!

The link above contains my referral link for Swagbucks.  Also, I have blogged here about how I earn SB at Swagbucks to use for gift cards.  I have, also, added the books to my Amazon Bookshelf below.
